Enhailer was formed in 2014 and hail from the desolate war fields of Akron, Ohio. Previously baptized in battle during other tours of duty such as 'Mockingbird', a battle hardened Enhailer bring forth a mix of doom, thrash metal and Black Metal to unleash on the world. Their latest campaign of carnage will mark their 4th release to date and they have teamed up with Massachusetts monuments of metal, 'Black Pyramid' for maximum devastation!


Black Pyramid hail from western Massachusetts and play rumbling down tuned tones similar to bands like Sleep, Electric Wizard and The Obsessed. This will mark their 5th album and they are excited to unleash it on their deserving fans!


The album was released digitally on May 9th and pre-order for physical copies is available now. Physical copies will be available on June 5th in vinyl, cassette and CD.

UK symphonic metal band DAMNATION ANGELS have released their new lyric video for ‘More Than Human‘ featuring Lauren Francis (ex Devilment). Formed in Britain late 2006, DAMNATION ANGELS set out to create a new benchmark in symphonic metal.

The band began by releasing their debut e.p Shadow Symphony in 2009, receiving rave reviews from critics stating that the band are “the brightest spark to emerge upon the UK scene in a very long time” and are “comparable with mega acts such as Avantasia and Blind Guardian“. Following the release the band struck a deal with Radtone Records (Japan) and released their debut album “Bringer Of Light” in Japan. A worldwide release followed in 2013 when the band struck a multi album deal with Massacre Records (Germany).

Bringer Of Light gained acclaim and topped Amazon charts worldwide, breaking into the top 100 downloads for all music in Germany. The success and reception of Bringer Of Light propelled the band to play outside of the UK for the very first time at the prestigious ProgPower USA Festival and a European tour with Andromeda.

PERFECT BLUE SKY 'Darkness meets light’ song craft duo featuring Swedish black metal guitarist Pontus (PNA) Andersson from Netherbird and Australian alt-rock vocalist Jane Kitto. Combining their influences as songwriters, their sound is a hybrid between 70's psychedelic rock meets 90's grunge. They have performed in various constellations with guest musicians throughout the UK, Australia, Scandinavia, France and the Baltic states. Their current British line-up features James Frost on drums and bassist Jon Middleton. During Covid 19, all of PBS main shows had been cancelled until 2021. In the meantime the duo have kept up their presence making occasional on-line acoustic appearances. Andersson and Kitto together have released 2 full length albums and 5 singles. 'Oh Pretty One' is a song about a girl on the autistic spectrum somewhat trapped inside her imagination. The video was inspired by American photographer Francesca Woodman who lived in New York City until her death in 1981. She was an artist who created a beautiful, exploratory and imaginary world within her art whilst outside her door, the world appeared grey, alien and mundane. She constantly redesigned her inner world theatre until there was nothing left to discover. Based on a true story!

The video was made during lock down in our apartment staircase here in Newquay Cornwall with Pna's newly aquired 3D Animation skills and the video was shot with Jane's iPhone, its pretty hilarious.

Elements of I Prevail, Nothing More, While She Sleeps and modern Bring Me The Horizon come together to create an EP far more than the sum of its parts. Opener ‘War’ is an absolute lungburster of a track and at no point throughout the five-track salvo do JET FUEL CHEMISTRY let up.

An impressive collection of songs from such a young band, JET FUEL CHEMISTRY first came together three years ago. The entirety of the band’s EP was recorded, mixed, and mastered in guitarist / producer Danny’s bedroom, for a grand total of £0.

A scintillating mix of anthemic alternative rock and modern metalcore mark this new group as ones to truly take attention of.

The sounds of Dublin are fully embedded in Sign of the Times. As bassist Lorcan states:
"Dublin is a city notorious for phenomenal indie music and there's a lot of positives to that, but what's overlooked by that movement is the misery endured by Dublin's young people for the last decade as more and more of their lives and identities shift to social media. We love the music coming out of our city but most of it does not capture the spirit of dread and aimlessness that's become the norm here. We want our songs to not only acknowledge these issues, but to give a two fingered salute to the enablers of our collective unhappiness and offer a source of strength to anybody feeling as lost as we do."

Such a thoughtful, considered approach is typical of JET FUEL CHEMISTRY and a true acknowledgement of their calibre, carried throughout the five songs. The EP’s eponymous track satirises our modern culture of self-worship, with the cry ‘it’s just a sign of the times’ signalling the forfeit of redemption in favour of nihilism. The track opens with a Greta Thunberg quote that perfectly encapsulates how self-involved we have become: a young woman speaking at the UN, begging them to take responsibility, and yet she becomes the target of abuse.

'Jump In The Fire' is the fourth single taken from their debut self-titled album, Patrón, out now via Klonosphere.

PATRÓN is a new project fronted by Lo (aka Patrón) frontman of the band Loading Data. The self-titled debut album was produced by Alain Johannes (Queens of the Stone Age, Eleven, Them Crooked Vultures, Chris Cornell Band) and also happens to be the last album ever recorded in his legendary studio 11AD, in Los Angeles.

Lo had some well known friends record the album with him: Joey Castillo (Danzig, Queens of the Stone Age, The Bronx), Barrett Martin (Mad Season, Screaming Trees, Tuatara), Nick Oliveri (Kyuss, Queens of the Stone Age, Mondo Generator), Aurélien Barbolosi (Aston Villa) and Monique St Walker (Blackbird Days).

PATRÓN is a melting pot of influences, a new entity, a sort of Frankenstein creature, borrowing as much from stoner rock, 50s rock n roll, the Rat Pack as from 80s pop. It's sexy, it’s groovy, it’s loud and heavy. Heady melodies that will stick to your skin like a thirsty alcoholic tick.

German metalcore quintet RISING INSANE have released a metal cover of Michael Sembello's Flashdance hit 'Maniac'. The track is out now on all digital platforms and follows the band's album Porcelain, which was released last year via Long Branch Records.

FORE; punk band featuring ex-KREATOR bassist and VENOM INC, MASSACRE members release two new songs!

FORE, the punk band featuring Christian “Speesy” Giesler (ex-KREATOR), Jeramie Kling (VENOM INC, MASSACRE, THE ABSENCE), Taylor Nordberg (MASSACRE, THE ABSENCE) and Brian Stephenson (OLD JAMES, SKULL FIST), have released two new songs, “Song For A Friend” and “Pet” on the band’s Bandcamp page.



The group previously released their debut songs “What’s Right For You” and “Today We Rise (No Tomorrow)” last month to a positive and response.



Regarding the first stages of the band’s existence and the response so far, Stephenson said: “So inevitably stoked to be on board with such fine gentlemen on a project I’d never have imagined could have come to fruition. A real punk rock group with heavy metals A-team. DIY, in your face. More than a band. A movement. Stoked is not even close to how this feels for me. Formed in 2010 the Lehighton, PA based band Another Day Dawns continues to be the most talked about up and coming rock act in the Northeast to Mid-Atlantic region of the U.S. Led by Lead Singer and front man Dakota Sean, Guitarist Tyler Ritter, and Drummer Nick McGeehan, the band released their EP A Different Life in February 2018 which landed them a charting spot on Billboard which solidified their foundation in the active rock market. In December 2019, early member Jerome Betz returned to filling out the rhythm section on bass.

It's not nicey nicey rock by numbers which I'm seeing alot of at the moment... its eclectic..its also all true.. no fictional stories. FRESH BLOOD: KILL FRENZY
Kill Frenzy comprises of 4 friends from different musical backgrounds, coming together to form this raw, energized, fast-paced thrash metal band. The name is inspired by the original Grand Theft Auto video games and although the members are down to earth, the music screams anger, violence and hatred. Reminding you of old school metal, that just doesn’t seem to be around anymore. As one fan put it “There’s no bullshit, it’s just full-on balls to the wall metal”.

The band hails from the gutters of the Mother City, Cape Town, South Africa. Bursting onto the circuit in March of 2017 with a bombardment of relentless gigging, loudly making themselves known on the local scene. Not only hitting the local venues with city-wide touring, the band featured at Metal 4 Africa’s WinterFest in July of 2018. In September 2018, the band went on tour, headlining 2 nights at Botswana’s annual Rock the Nation festival alongside Overthrust and Deadline. Stopping over in Johannesburg along the way to play a show there as well.

The band has been very proactive in contributing to building not only the local scene but also building bridges and making friends with bands across the border. Most of the shows played are organised by Frenzy themselves and they have hosted 4 bands from over the border, from Botswana and Mozambique. They have also played their part in organising gigs for charity, specifically animal charities, raising a considerable amount of money as well as collecting vast amounts of animal food. The band also donated all proceedings from their show towards a fans hospital bills after getting mugged buying cigarettes down the road from another metal show.

Additional flair and artistry was provided by Jørgen Munkeby (Shining) with a saxophone solo on 'Unfair Labour' and of Chrysa Tsaltampasi (Spineless, Bella Fuzz) with vocals on 'Beyond Sight'. Mastered by Grammy award-winning engineer, Alan Douches (Mastodon, Kvelertak, The Dillinger Escape Plan etc) Impulse to Soar was recorded in various studios around Athens with these carefully selected collaborators in order to achieve the band's desired natural, organic sound. Human substance intertwines with artistic complexity to create a thrilling and exhilaratingly impressive debut full-length.

A new vehicle has formed; a metaphor for rebirth and new shape of life. Calyces - the sepals that form a protective layer around a budding flower - is a fitting name for this most exquisite and yet powerful of groups. Forming in 2018, the quartet are made up of well-known Greek musicians, beyond Manthos: Alexis Stavropoulos (drums), Giannis Golfis (guitar) and Stelios Tragos (bass), all of them already key members in the bands Insect Radio and Revenge Of The Giant Face.

Helion Prime Pays Tribute To Mathematician Katherine Johnson With Single "Madame Mercury"

Today Helion Prime releases the second single for their upcoming album "Question Everything" out October 5th, 2020.

The single "Madame Mercury" is based on NASA Mathematician Katherine Johnson. Johnson studied how to use geometry for space travel. She figured out the paths for the spacecraft to orbit (go around) Earth and to land on the Moon. NASA used Johnson's math, and it worked! NASA sent astronauts into orbit around Earth. Later, her math helped send astronauts to the Moon and back. NASA could not have done these things without Katherine Johnson and her love for math!

Today would have been Johnson's 102nd birthday had she not passed away earlier this year. There was no better way to release this song than with a video honoring her life's achievements on her birthday!

Guitarist Jason Ashcraft adds:

"When researching everyone for this album each story was inspiring in their own way, but Katherine's was one that really spoke to me. I admit I didn't know much about her before starting this album, but I can confidently say after learning all I did about her she's definitely a hero of mine. She was an amazing person and I hope this song can in some small way honor everything she's done."

It's been about two years since the band's sophomore release "Terror of the Cybernetic Space Monster" and Sacramento sci-fi power metallers Helion Prime returns with their third effort and the much shorter title "Question Everything" set for release on Monday, October 5th, 2020 via their label Saibot Reigns. This is Helion Prime's first album with new vocalist Mary Zimmer, who has also accompanied the band on two separate tours of the United States. It also sees the band's original singer, Heather Michele, returning in a writing capacity and contributing all lyrics and melodies. Heather Michele also along with other former Helion Prime vocalist Sozos Michael and with John Yelland (Judicator/Dire Peril) add their guest vocals on the full length.
The highly anticipated third record is a concept album, with each song revolving around different figures throughout human history that had the courage to question the status quo of their respective worlds/societies, in some cases even dealing with harsh persecution as a result. Those Helion Prime chose to write about-faced prejudice, mockery, ex-communication, and persecution - yet through it all, they held true to their beliefs and ideas. Time would be their greatest ally as their ideas and identities were eventually validated, oftentimes not until after their passing. They serve as an inspiration for all minds to continue thinking outside the box and staying true to themselves.

"This album has truly been amazing to work on. The idea behind it is something I've been holding on to since around the time I started the band. Aside from writing some of what I consider to be Prime's best work it was a great experience getting to work with Heather again on an album as she once again contributed her talents for the lyrics."

Mixing was done by Chris Collier and mastered by Brett Caldas-Lima along with additional mixing/drum edits/reamping plus writing and performance of keyboard arrangements by Alex Nasla of Gear Gods Studio. "During the writing process we approached Shooting Star in a very different way. Normally we write whatever comes to our mind but this time we had a good idea what we really needed. Short and simple with a catchy chorus. All it took was a simple melody and the song somehow wrote itself. It's a story about getting older, reminiscing about your life and eventually moving on to greener pastures. One of the stand out songs on the album."


MEMOIRA hails from Pori/Jyväskylä, Finland, playing symphonic/gothic metal. Diabhal is an American death metal band from New York that started in 2019, started by vocalist and guitarist Tameem Shaker of the technical death metal band Necropia and guitarist Miguel Rodriguez of the crossover thrash band Enemy of the State, soon recruiting bassist Jonathan Rizzo also of Enemy of the State and drummer Ricky Rizzo of blackened punk band Zombie Culture, grindcore band No More Victims and Enemy of the State to complete the line up. Diabhal’s music is a blend of uncompromisingly ignorant old school death metal, blackened death metal, and deathgrind with horror themed lyrics all with a New York death metal attitude. Diabhal’s first album M M X X was written and recorded between May 2019 and June 2020 at Tameem’s home studio in New York and was first intended to be a 4 song demo. However during the writing process, it was clear that the songs deserved more backing, thus M M X X was conceived. Diabhal are currently working on new songs for their sophomore release due next year.

Junkwolvz
is a band located in Athens, Greece. Their sound occupies the space between metal and hard rock and their purpose is to reawaken the rock 'n' roll element in metal music. With main influences such as Motorhead, Megadeth, Guns 'n' Roses and Rolling Stones the focus is to merge all these different angles into one coherent musical style. Their first incarnation was in late 2017 but, due to discord in the band's members at the time, they soon disbanded. The group truly began at 2019 when Panos (guitar, vocals) and Stefanos (drums) were joined by friend musicians Chris (guitar) and Manos (bass) who decided to help the two original members kickstart the band, without being in the band. After some cancelled 2020 shows due to the pandemic, Panos and Stef settled on using the quarantine to self-produce their first demo "Still Going Down" and at that time found guitarist Tasos who joined forces at once. So the current line-up consists of Panos (vocals,bass{for now}), Stef (drums) and Tasos (guitar) as a power trio, with a high likelihood of a forth member standing on the horizon.

Greece’s leading prog metal group NEED return with their long-awaited fifth album, Norchestrion: a song for the end on January 12th, 2021, via Ikaros Records.

Norchestrion will be released on digipack CD, double vinyl LP (with a limited edition of golden vinyl), a limited edition boxset, and on all digital platforms.

The first glimpse of the record, lead single 'Nemmortal', will be released 5th November, alongside pre-orders via Bandcamp.

5th November is no random date - it holds a special place in the band's heart as it's the date of their first live show in 2005, making the release of 'Nemmortal' their 15th anniversary.

In honour of the anniversary, NEED will re-release all their out-of-stock back catalogue. More news on this soon.

Norchestrion follows NEED’s critically acclaimed LP Hegaiamas: a song for freedom, and is by far the band’s most ambitious and adventurous album to date.

Throughout Norchestrion’s 66-minute run-time, fans will see NEED experiment with new elements, whilst maintaining the characteristics that have – in their fifteen years of existence – made them one of Greece’s most fêted rock groups.

The touring cycle of Hegaiamas resulted in an impressive 72 shows worldwide, including a 24-date run across the USA and Canada, and then a 22-date EU run, both with Sweden's Evergrey. NEED also performed at the 20th Anniversary Edition of ProgPower Europe (Netherlands) and SoundArt Fest (Romania). The band also supported Fates Warning, Pain of Salvation, and Coroner in Greece, and undertook multiple headline tours across their home country and throughout Eastern Europe – including headlining Prog Over Athens in late 2017.

Elements of the best of modern melodic prog and powerful symphonic metal combine to create a thrilling and highly rewarding listen in Norchestrion: a song for the end. Elements of Dream Theater, Pain of Salvation, and Nevermore can be heard, all while remaining uniquely NEED.

Joe Bouchard is best known as a founding member of Blue Öyster Cult. The original line-up sold millions of albums for Columbia Records, with such classic songs as “(Don’t Fear) The Reaper” and the #1 hit on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart “Burning For You”. Contributing to songwriting, and lead vocals on some of their greatest songs, such as “Hot Rails To Hell”.

Joe released his sixth solo album “Strange Legends” on July 31st though he and his brother’s (Albert Bouchard) new imprint RockHeart Records / Deko Entertainment (ADA/Warner Music Group). The album has been receiving a tremendous response around the globe and has sold out of its initial pressing.



When Deko Entertainment decided to do a repressing, they wanted to do something a little bit different to commemorate this accomplishment by issuing a slightly different version. Joe comments, “I am overwhelmed by the response to my album Strange Legends. I knew it was good, but the fan reactions from all over the world have been tremendous. After years of sweat and effort doing my solo albums, this one has really risen above the pack. With this second pressing of Strange Legends we have varied the artwork on the tray holder. My artist, Logan Cummings, created 11 different thumbnails for each song on the album. The first edition had the frogman that was the art for Bottom for the Bottomless. The second edition has the sailboat which is the art for Strangely in Love, one of my personal favorites. The team at Deko Entertainment have gone the extra mile with promotions, and it’s been an incredible ride. Hope to play these new songs in person as soon as touring returns.”



Bouchard’s manager, Jeff Keller, added, “we have been so pleased with the fan and critic response for this album. I feel that it is Joe’s best solo work to date, and the people are loving it”.

In 2019 a new history begins for progressive metal: Perduratum.

A project started by the artistic concern of two great friends: Ahijado (bass) and Diego Cholula (voice) who would soon find the other members, James Ponce (guitar) and Aruh (drums) with whom they’d start working on their first material. Later the band found the piece that would complete the puzzle with the entrance of Edgar Butanda (keyboards) who joined the band when the writing and composition processes had already begun.

With a clear idea of being able to make a work that allows to express the most intimate of his musical life, leaving open his notorious musical influences of progressive metal and alternate styles (such as Dream Theater, Tesseract, Distorted Harmony, Symphony X, Voyager, Leprous, Circus Maximus among others…) and personal experiences. They embarked on an anachronistic path that has led them to produce their first material: “Exile's Anthology”.

This production contains each of the members' instrumental influences which coalesce heavy riffs and shreds by James Ponce who is influenced by such guitarists as Jorn Viggo from Pagan's Mind, John Petrucci from Dream Theater and Andy James. Such a hard and powerful touch demands precision in the rhythm section and Aruh does just that with the drums; upon hearing his style you can immediately recognize his taste for the likes of Alex Rudinger, Nic Pettersen from Northlane and the more progressive style of Gavin Harrison from Porcupine Tree. The increasingly neglected importance of the bass guitar within the metal genre is quickly forgotten upon hearing “Ahijado’s” bass lines; His fingers do not cease to generate chaos through a direct and aggressive contact with the strings which show his notable influences by bassists such as John Myung from Dream Theater, Pete Pérez from Spastic Ink and Jason Newsted of Metallica. The eccentricity in the most optimal instrument to change the face of any project, Edgar Butanda's keyboards have injected a more progressive, atmospheric and experimental style to the band, leaving the door open to experience their most deeply rooted influences such as Jordan Rudess from Dream Theater, Diego Tejeida from Haken and Joav Efron from Distorted Harmony. To complete the line up, a voice that contrasts with the powerful sound of metal, but that in the progressive has room for the mixture of nuances and multiple colors, a timbre and technique that although it is influenced by singers of the progressive genre such as Tommy Karevik from Seventh Wonder and Kamelot, and Michael Eriksen from Circus Maximus, allows us to think that it is also infected by voices of other styles such as Einar Solberg from Leprous and Matt Bellamy from Muse.

Perduratum is the result of a crossing of temporalities, tastes and influences that, although convergent, also allow for differences. This is how its sounds, style, execution and composition can be reminiscent of a classic progressive metal for its passages with harmonized leads, shred, modulations, progressive rhythms, even a metal influenced by the modern style of djent and the atmospheric, with the peculiar mixture of the retro and pop-electronic sound in some of their songs.

Perduratum is characterized by not being exclusively an aesthetic and musical exhibition, but a semantic one. Expressing in his lyrics the concern, curiosity and passion for philosophy, psychoanalysis, politics and the poetry of vocalist Diego Cholula. Reflections and questions, an open space that becomes an invitation to not only feel, but also think; Perduratum strives to become a place, a platform, for everyone to experience a journey with themselves and others.

The album is an incendiary compilation of songs that everyone in the band, both current and previous members, had some input choosing, and it shows true honesty in the recordings, making it a fresh take on some very listenable rock jams.

Kory Clarke – “We wanted to make a record that was not about all the crap we are all living in, as it seems like a well worn path for . So, I had to think out of the box“.

The album was recorded all over the western world (Edinburgh – Scotland, Newcastle – England, Copenhagen – Denmark, L.A. – USA, NYC- USA, Chicago – USA, Detroit – USA, Sheffield – UK, Costa Blanca – Torrevieja – Spain) in home studios.

The idea for a covers album started when mainman Kory Clarke was contacted by legendary rock photographer, Alex Ruffini‘s brother, enquiring if Warrior Soul would record a cover of a KISS song, which was Alex Ruffini‘s favourite band, for a tribute in aid of Cancer Research. Warrior Soul recorded ‘Cold Gin‘. Once the band started recording, it sounded really positive and they decided to assemble a complete record of covers ranging from Motörhead to KC and the Sunshine Band.

Kory Clarke – “I contacted many of the musicians who have played with Warrior Soul recently and asked if they wanted to be part of it – everyone was very much up for it and ready to go. We called John Dryland at Livewire/Cargo Records, and he said ‘of course, go for it‘, the irony of recording ‘Good Times Roll’ during a global pandemic really works as you can hear the sneer of sarcasm right through every chorus!”

Warrior Soul are known for recording some electrifying covers previously including songs by Joy Division, Iggy Pop and David Bowie. Kory Clarke has performed on several compilation and tribute albums singing other acts songs but this is the first complete album of its kind from Warrior Soul.

Warrior Soul have taken their straight-ahead, honest, full-on rock n’ roll approach to these songs and encourage you to raise a glass and sterilize your tooter – cause there ain’t no vaccine for this jamdemic.

The current situation makes consistent planning almost impossible. Every day new COVID-19 hotspots are announced, clubs are confronted with various constraints or are even forced to close entirely, and no one can tell if and when live gigs will be possible again. Instead of rescheduling gigs, which might be cancelled or rescheduled again in a few months, we decided to cancel and postpone the tour and the release of our upcoming album "Sieben" entirely. Arcana Reveals Another Single “Tailwind” From Space Rock Opera “Letters From A Lost Soul | Act I: The World One Forms”

Calgary, Canada’s Arcana are releasing their debut EP this year, the fantastic space rock opera “Letters From A Lost Soul | Act I: The World One Forms”. They are releasing a second single and first music video “Tailwind” from this debut, which takes progressive metal and rich storytelling to a new level.

“Tailwind” is the love song on the EP that features the heartfelt exchange between protagonist Damian and his wife Hope who long to see each other again and conveys a true sense of always being there for each other but constantly out of reach. Hope is like the sun to Damian; his guiding light to find his way home.

With lyrics that truly focus on storytelling, they take a look at the effects of tragedy and what drives human action and emotion. There is a lot of inspiration for the story from sci-fi concepts and mythology. As explained by the band in their own words:

“Tailwind is a very stripped-down track. I wanted it to feel like your standard 4 or 5 piece rock band (singer, guitarist, bassist, drums, keys) in contrast to the other tracks on this album which can get up into the 20 individual instrument range. I have been trying to write one more contemporary/pop-like track per album and I believe this encompasses that wish extremely well. It’s upbeat, quick, and it feels like you can dance to it. It is still rhythmically technical but it hides it in the 4/4 time and the drive that pushes the sound forward throughout.”

Arcana springs forth from the mind of Rogan McAndrews who developed the concept for the band and the story it was made to tell. He gathered a number of highly trained musicians from different backgrounds from jazz and rock to contemporary and classical and several vocalists to play the parts of the characters.

Recommended for fans of Caligula’s Horse, Leprous, and Coheed and Cambria, “Letters From A Lost Soul | Act I: The World One Forms” is a thoughtful and ambitious prog metal journey.

Wrecking Ball Metal Fest is Dropping the Ball

With no reprieve on the immediate horizon in sight to have restrictions lifted for live shows, artists, bands, fans and the music industry as a whole are left to quiet nights in front of a computer screen scouring the interwebs for online streaming events.



Since March, a number of events have been taking place worldwide, providing audiences with a chance to experience music performances via the Internet.



The Philadelphia-based event Wrecking Ball Metal Fest has thrown their head banging hardhat into the ring to bring its annual Fall gathering to the streaming arena. The WB 2020 Fest is being organized and presented by long time PA-based promoter Billy Loney of Keep it Metal Promotions.



“This year has been a real challenge for everyone, especially the music industry,” says Loney. “Fans and artists have been disconnected by no fault of their own…this is just a way to bridge that gap.”



Wrecking Ball will take place on Saturday, December 12th and will begin streaming at 1pmET exclusively on Rock Addict Radio's official website, www.rockaddictradio.com.

1. Tell us about yourselves. What's the band called and who's in the band?
Mick Michaels: Thanks so much for talking with me. It’s greatly appreciated.
We are Corners of Sanctuary, a New Wave of Traditional American Heavy Metal band from Philadelphia, PA.

Our current lineup is:
Frankie Cross on vocals,
Mad T on drums,
James Pera on bass and backing vocals
and I (Mick) play guitar and occasionally the keyboards.




We formed in 2011 with the goal to bring back the true classic Heavy Metal sound. It’s the music we grew up on…it’s our roots. Playing what we feel we are most connected to, for us, is being true to ourselves and the music we share.
2. Looking forward to playing Wrecking Ball?

Mick Michaels: Absolutely! Playing live is a major part of what this band does. With things being the way they are, this is a great opportunity not only to play again but to keep music alive…it’s letting everyone know that music won’t be silenced. Wrecking Ball Metal Fest is gathering bands from different parts of the world, so it really sends the message home that no matter where we are, we can all come together for a common cause and share the experience.
3. Band you're most looking forward to seeing?
Mick Michaels: Definitely looking forward to seeing Threatpoint and Syteria. It has been sometime since we shared the stage with our good friends in Threatpoint…theirs is always a show worth catching. It will also be great to see Syteria again…we played with them in March while we were on tour in the UK…it was actually the last show we played before everything went haywire. As the travel ban was put into place here in the US, we were forced to cancel the remaining shows of the tour and we scrambled to get a flight back home…but all for the best as it is better to be safe than sorry.
I’m also really looking forward to seeing Strike Master…these guys are a true force in the Thrash Metal community in Mexico…a definite powerhouse.
The whole event should be electric…all the bands are great. Having the opportunity to reconnect with bands and friends, old and new, with an event like this, makes it even more worthwhile.
4. What can fans expect from you? Any new songs?
Mick Michaels: We are still working out the final set list…so we may not know what we are going to actually do until a day or two before the performance. But in any event, the set will be energetic and full of a number of Corners of Sanctuary classic songs such “Metal Machine,” “Victoria,” “Hail, Hail” and definitely everyone’s favorite, “On the Hunt.”
5. What music have you released at the moment or have planned?
Mick Michaels: Our latest album, “Heroes Never Die” released in October on RFL Records (US). It is a classically driven record with all the nostalgia of old school Heavy Metal that you would want and expect but with a modern feel that doesn’t date the tracks. For us it is a continuation of our previous album, “The Galloping Hordes.” Several videos were also released to support the album. We’re also working on our annual holiday song…it’s gonna be another Merry Metal Xmas! This has become a tradition here in the COS camp…something we love doing and the fans look forward to as well. Look for the single’s release sometime in early December.

Plus, we’ve also started working on material for a follow up EP we hope to have available mid winter 2021 and have begun writing for our next album. In a sense, at least for the moment, time is on our side…so why not take full advantage of it and make the most of what it can provide for us.
6. What other lives shows have you got lined up?
Mick Michaels: We are scheduled to perform at several more online streaming events including the RockMetalTalk Event on December 1st, the Metal Heroes Online II event on December 5th and possibly the Vinyl Closet Records Metal Fest on December 19th. We’re calling it the “Metal Never Dies: The Online Barrage of Shows” Tour.

A return to the UK tour was planned for February 2021, but it look as though that may have to be postponed as well. We will keep doing what we are doing and hope for the best…with any luck, 2021 will be a banner year for us all!



Mad T:



1. Tell us about yourselves. What's the band called and who's in the band?

Mad T: We are Powerless Rise. We formed in 2015 outside of Philadelphia following a break up of a previous band I was in. I wanted to explore the thin line between what I enjoyed from modern punk rock and classic heavy metal music. After learning a few power chords myself on guitar I started to write a number of songs that seemed to walk that line . I then recruited guitarist Scott McMahon, bassist Patrick Myers, and singer Kayla Marie, with myself on drums. From there, we put together a few songs and have since released one album, two EPs, and one live EP.

2. Looking forward to playing Wrecking Ball?

Mad T: We are stoked to be playing Wrecking Ball! We’ve played with Corners of Sanctuary on some previous Wrecking Ball Metal Fest events and it was always a blast! We can’t wait to share the virtual stage with them again during these crazy and unprecedented times…as well, we look forward to again sharing a physical stage with them once this global situation is over.

3. Band you're most looking forward to seeing?

Mad T: I’m looking forward to seeing Threatpoint play. They’re always heavy and aggressive when playing live. It’s intense. I’m also excited to see Syteria play. They are a very tight and driving band live. I shared the stage with Syteria back in March while in the UK on tour. Lastly, I’m looking forward to Strike Master and Agressor from Mexico and Costa Rica respectively. I’m always interested in what other countries’ metal sounds like!

4. What can fans expect from you? Any new songs?

Mad T: As of now, we will be supporting our most recent EP release, Chaos, which is available on Exquisite Noise Records (US). There are a few fan favorites in the set list that I’m sure everyone will enjoy!

5. What music have you released at the moment or have planned?

Mad T: Currently, we are working on a new album. The current situation has given us some time to write and hone some of the new material that we plan to include on the disc. When will it be released? I’m not too sure at the moment given the circumstance, but we are staying hopeful and projecting a release in Spring 2021.

6. What other lives shows have you got lined up?

Mad T: Again, with everything that’s going on, it’s a little harder for bands to find shows, let alone find a space to record a set! We are currently searching for subsequent shows and hope we can help those listening create a momentary escape from the craziness!

Chris James – vocalist of Threatpoint

1. Tell us about yourselves. What's the band called and who's in the band?

Chris James: We are Threatpoint a 4 piece Thrash/Groove Metal band from Scranton, Pa. We’ve been around since 2012. We are on the roster of Voodoo Queen Management out off Illinois , Yvonne Loveland is the Queen Bee of the organization. We have played all over the United States. 4 full length albums, an acoustic album and currently working on our fifth album as we speak.



The Threatpoint name came from me & CJ Krukowski brainstorming one evening. We were originally called Sixfist but it didn’t feel right. I came up with the word Threat, it was like in your face. CJ added point to it making it more a direct target I guess you can say.

2. Looking forward to playing Wrecking Ball?

Chris James: Sure, With this COVID killing the music industry n far n few between places to play, it gives us a new outlet…something to put out energy toward.

3. Band you're most looking forward to seeing?

Chris James: Definitely like to see Corners of Sanctuary with their new singer. We’ve played a lot of shows with them but due to COVID never got to share the stage with their new frontman yet.

4. What can fans expect from you? Any new songs?

Chris James: We tried to give it a real raw live feel. Just like any other show in front of fans. Yes, we actually picked one song from each album including one new one off the upcoming release. Five in total.

5. What music have you released at the moment or have planned?

Chris James: Since we are stalled most of year we have been recording our newest album. We have a new video being edited for the new single off it. One thing this has taught us is to take more time recording. Going over the songs 100x more than usual. It’s coming along pretty amazing. Lots of changes as we keep moving forward with this one.

6. What other lives shows have you got lined up?

Chris James: We’ve got a Post Thanksgiving Birthday Bash Nov 28 in Tafton, Pa and Dec 12 we head over to Arties in Frenchtown NJ we are playing on a Maiden and Priest tribute show.

1. Tell us about yourselves. What's the band called and who's in the band?

Kevin Cole: Our band is called Seventh Chaos. The members are

Kevin Cole: We are very excited and very honored to be a part of Wrecking Ball. Any time you get bands and people who are passionate about music involved in something together, it always is a great and amazing thing. I am very pleased to have the chance to be a part of this.



3. Band you're most looking forward to seeing?

Kevin Cole: I’m very excited to see all the bands participating in the event but I’m very much looking forward to seeing Corners of Sanctuary…I have been a big fan ever since I first seen them play many years ago.



4. What can fans expect from you? Any new songs?

Kevin Cole: Everyone watching will get a look at some of the songs that we will be featuring on our upcoming album. Unfortunately, I won’t be head banging like I often do since my recent neck surgery…it was a very bad situation I was in and had to go though…so I’m excited to have people see me playing again and seeing me coming back from a very difficult and scary situation.



5. What music have you released at the moment or have planned?

Kevin Cole: We are in the process of recording our first official album. It has 10 songs on the recording and the title of the album is called “Marked for Death.”



6. What other lives shows have you got lined up?

Kevin Cole: Unfortunately, we have no live shows lined up currently with the COVID situation on the rise again. However, we also haven't put too much effort into looking at live shows because we’re tryin’ to finish the album; the album is the first priority. Unfortunately, with all the COVID restrictions we have been unable to work on the album as often or as long as we want when we do have a chance to work on it. So things have been delayed in some big ways…however, once the album is finished, we are going to be working hard to play live.

1. Tell us about yourselves. What's the band called and who's in the band?

Jackie Chambers: We formed at the end of 2015 in Yorkshire but really started gigging in May 2016. We released Rantobot which was nominated and in the final 5 for an independent music award, it also received rave reviews in the music mags and online. Syteria have played the main stage at many festivals in the UK including Hard Rock Hell, Winterstorm, Wildfire....and in 2020 we released our follow up album 'Reflection' which we are currently promoting.



2. Looking forward to playing Wrecking Ball?



Jackie Chambers: Yes indeed, we all love to play whether it’s on line or in front of a real audience, which is becoming rare these days. Festivals are always so much fun to do too, we often meet friends from other bands and of course the audiences are up for everything and support bands right across the board.



3. Band you're most looking forward to seeing?



Jackie Chambers: Well I’ll be watching our friends from 'Corners Of Sanctuary’ who are on the bill, we've done a couple of shows with them before but I think I’ll watch as many bands as I can as I don't think we’ve come across any of the others on the circuit so far. It should be a fun event.



4. What can fans expect from you? Any new songs?



Jackie Chambers: We are currently writing new songs but never got a chance to try them out live before the lockdowns happened. Who knows when we’ll get that chance, but for now you’ll probably hear the newer songs from the Reflections album, which are technically the newest!



5. What music have you released at the moment or have planned?



Jackie Chambers: We released the album Reflection about a month before the lockdown in March, we were out touring and promoting it when had to put the brakes on. SO when we get out to play again we’ll continue to play those ’new’ songs but also will have newer ones to show that we haven’t just sat around watching TV and eating during lockdown though we probably all did quite a bit if that too



6. What other lives shows have you got lined up?



Jackie Chambers: We had a full calendar for 2020 which has now all been moved to 2021 so as of Jan 2021, I will be playing gigs with Girlschool in Oslo IF things get back to some sort of normal and then in February Syteria get to support ‘Cats In Space’ on a couple of gigs in the UK, then March we have a few of our own shows already scheduled in around the UK with more to be confirmed.

Melodic post-hardcore sextet AS EVERYTHING UNFOLDS have released their new single 'Wallow'. The track is the fourth single from their forthcoming debut album, Within Each Lies The Other, set for release on 26th March 2021 via Long Branch Records.

Vocalist Charlie Rolfe comments on the single:

"Anger and sadness really drove this track lyrically and there's a lot of frustration which is present through the use of the mostly harsh vocals. It’s a song about betrayal, liars and anyone who has ever done anything to you to make you deliberately feel worthless. A lot of energy is taken out on this song, and we invite you to do the same."

'Wallow' follows the band's previous singles 'Take Me There', 'Hiding From Myself' and 'Stranger In The Mirror', which have collectively garnered over 1,000,000 streams.
